Tuck Everlasting

This is a great coming of age book! Winnie is a young girl who is constantly being watched over and told what to do, she decides to run away. She finds a boy in the woods and he is drinking from a small spring that makes him immortal, she meets his family (they are also immortal) and they share all their stories about having lived for a hundred or more years. After awhile a man comes along and threatens to expose them and their secrets unless… well you’ll have to read it! Throughout the story Winnie begins to fall in love with Jesse (the boy in the woods) he asks her a very important question, but will she accept? Tuck Everlasting was written by Natalie Babbitt only 139 pages and the chapters are very short. Happy Reading!!

    • Yeah, the movie was definitely not as good as the book! I haven’t found a movie that is better. But all the more reason to keep reading!! Have you read The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton? My all time favorite book!!
