I also read the first one of the series. I was taken with the overall idea but I lost interest pretty fast. Somehow the execution didn’t live up to the hype. The publisher really promoted the heck out of this and I expected more. Oh, well….
Yeah, I don’t know what it was, but I just couldn’t finish the second one.
